What is the minimum Motorhome hire period and What does the final rental price include?

The minimum Motorhome hire period is 3 nights

How old are the motorhomes?

All our Motorhomes are no more than 3 years old and are regularly serviced and maintained at our Cheshire and Telford sites

How do I make a booking?

  • All Motorhome Hire bookings can be made over the phone. email, or on our online booking system.
  • All we need to secure your booking is a £250 deposit
  • We will contact you for the remaining balance 4 weeks before your Motorhome hire period begins.
  • If  booking our Motorhome's less than 4 weeks prior to collection the full amount is required.

What charges apply if I cancel my Motorhome booking?

  • More than 28 days before collection: the booking deposit is non refundable
  • 4 weeks – 2 weeks before collection 50% of total hire charges is non refundable
  • 2 week- No Show 100% of total hire charge is non refundable
  • Bookings are not transferable

What time can I collect/return my motorhome?

  • Collection times are from 3pm, last collection time is 1 hour prior to closing (closing time will vary depending on the season)
  • Please allow 1 hour for the full Motorhome hand over at our cheshire or Telford depots – to complete the documentation and demonstrate your vehicle to you
  • Return times are between 10am and 12 pm
  • A late fee will apply for all Motorhomes returned after 12 pm

What do I need to collect my motorhome?

  • All drivers MUST be present on collection of the motorhome
  • Full valid driving licence for each driver
  • Passport
  • Utility bill or bank statement to confirm your home address if it is different from your driving licence

What is the security deposit?

  • A security deposit of £1,000 is payable on collection by debit or credit card
  • The card holder must be present

Is there any excess on the vehicle insurance?

  • There is an Excess of £1,000 on the Motorhome insurance policy
  • CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) can be taken out at £10 per night of the Motorhome hire which will reduce the excess on the policy to £100.00. This does cover tyres and windscreen
  • Note that even when the CDW is taken out, the hirer is still fully liable for the following (to be settled via the ‘security deposit’): overhead damage, damage caused through reversing, replacement or repairs to windows, and internal damages or any damage costs caused through gross negligence. Can I take my motorhome to Europe?

  • Yes, although an additional charge of £10 per night is required

Can I take my motorhome to Ireland?

  • Yes, although an additional charge of £10 per night is required

Can I take my motorhome on a ferry?

  • Yes, the ferry company will usually ask you for the registration number and the vehicle length.
  • They also usually require a letter of authority from us.

Can I take my pet?

  • Pets may be allowed to travel and stay in our motorhomes but this must be discussed/authorised by prior to booking.
  • A fine for sanitising will be issued for any infringement of these terms.

Can you deliver?

  • Yes, we can deliver our Motorhomes please arrange in advance.
  • There will be an additional charge for areas outside 5 miles, charges depend on location

Can I leave my car at Motorhome 2 go?

  • Yes you can leave your car at our depot whilst your away
  • Your car will be secure in gated an locked compound
  • We do not accept any liability for any damages to any vehicles whilst in our compound

What does my motorhome come with?

  • 2 x Bottles of gas (1x full refillable LPG plus one backup bottle)

What works from the Motorhome leisure battery?

  • Lights are powered from the leisure battery
  • Fridge
  • Water pump
  • TV
  • USB charging sockets

What are the benefits of hooking up to mains electric?

  • A power source of 240 volts is needed to fully power the motorhome
  • The fridge can be used off the mains electric
  • The leisure battery will also charge through the mains electric
  • A generator placed outside of the Motorhome can also be used in place of a 240 volt mains hook up (please ask)

How many miles to the gallon can I expect?

  • All Motorhomes will do roughly 25-28 miles per gallon and around 350 miles to a tank of Diesel

Is Bedding included?

  • Bedding and towels are not included in the motorhomes as standard although we do hire sets
  • A single set can be hired for £25 per set which includes a duvet, pillow, sheets and a towel
  • A double set can be hired for £50 per set and includes duvet, 2 pillows, sheets and 2 towels

Will my motorhome fit a baby car seat?

  • All motorhomes can fit a baby car seat/high back booster seat/booster seat
  • Note that it is important to refer to our guidelines –  Motorhome Child Travel & Car Seats

Are the motorhomes suitable for winter hire?

  • Yes, all Motorhomes have double glazing and wall and floor insulation
  • They have either Gas or Electric central heating
  • The waste water tank is also heated

Can I take my Motorhome to Glastonbury?

How do I return my motorhome?

  • All Motorhomes must be returned to the Motorhome 2 go Cheshire or Telford depot between 10 am and 12 am (unless otherwise agreed)
  • We ask that the Motorhome is returned with a full tank of diesel and at least one full LPG Gas bottle
  • We ask that the Motorhome is returned with an empty toilet cassette and water tank
  • Vehicles are expected to be returned in a clean and tidy condition
  • Vehicles must be unpacked, cleaned and be ready to hand over to a member of the Motorhome 2 go team by 12 am
  • Failure to do any of the above will result in a fine
